Social Networking

Social networking has been an important platform for both businesses and individuals in general. Social networking is the manner in which individuals are able to sell their products to a vast range of people. Promoting these channels has become more common as a result of the influence it has had. For example, we see several companies funding influencers' content in return for marketing their product.

These innovations may be used to endorse a brand. For example, often small business owners use social networking to attract more customers than they would if they wanted to advertise their brand in a newspaper. However, these innovations can be used to locate a job. Recruiters use websites such as LinkedIn to find someone who is suitable for their business, as well as job-seekers searching for positions that are a perfect match for them. In "Social Networking Technology Improves Career Searching," Langfitt explains the essence of workplace recruitment through social networking. LinkedIn makes it easier for job-seekers to advertise themselves, particularly because most of the time you can communicate directly to the job-seeker. Work hunters can also effectively advertise themselves by developing their profile in a manner that helps them to draw recruiters. Langfitt also reveals how the recruiter reached out to the job seeker, and it turned out to be a productive conversation in which they actually become employees of the company.

The advantages of these innovations to society are that they act as a way to create relationships (personal and business), build communities, and foster knowledge. Knowledge is one of the greatest opportunities that I think comes with these applications because it educates people on what's going on in the world without having to watch the television. Being able to establish business relationships is also helpful to society, as it allows business owners to communicate with each other. We see this in "How to Build a Network on Social Media," where CEO Dave Klonke discusses how he uses social media to build connections with larger companies. He's able to get a lot of "referral sales" by doing so. Klonke frequently uses social media to draw attention to his website.

Although social networking is mostly optimistic, it may also be harmful. Social networking has a "dark side" where gossip, cyberbullying, privacy infringement, scamming, and even hacking happen. In comparison, social media is becoming unhealthful to people because they're caught using it every day. In "Antisocial Networking?" "Stout explains the condition in which children today do not experience what it is like to have a childhood friend. Excluding these interactions, it could be impossible for them to comprehend and gain sympathy since they may be used to seeing friends online only and may not be able to see their feelings.

With these positive and negative factors in mind, I expect that these developments will develop in the future. The way it will develop is by providing stronger privacy security, making it more difficult for hackers to access information. These tools could also develop in a manner that would make it easier to detect scammers and report and uninstall their accounts automatically. If the scammer has been detected, it is illegal to re-enter an account with the same IP address.
